How long are my files stored?+

Each job folder — original upload, cutout, and any background composite — is kept for 24 hours after processing, then deleted automatically. Download what you need before the timer in your profile runs out; expired files cannot be restored.

How do free downloads work?+

Every verified account receives a monthly allowance of free full-resolution downloads (the current number is on the Pricing page and in the header). Previews and background changes never count against it. The allowance resets on the 1st of each month (UTC).

Which formats can I upload and download?+

Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 25 MB. Download transparent PNG or WebP, or JPEG with an optional solid background color. Results match your source resolution up to our megapixel limit.

Do I need an account to try Foner?+

No. Anyone can upload and preview on the home page. An account with a verified email is required only to download full-resolution files, use batch mode, or create API keys.

Do you offer an API or MCP integration?+

Yes. Create keys in your profile and read the API or MCP documentation. The same balance and 24-hour retention rules apply — store outputs on your side immediately.

What happens when I delete my account?+

Stored files are removed, personal data is anonymized, and any remaining balance is forfeited as described in the Terms of Use and Refund Policy.

Can I change the background after removal?+

Yes. After a successful cutout, use Change background to:

  • Solid background color
  • Background from our catalog
  • Your own background image

You can preview the composite before downloading.

Can I process many photos at once?+

Signed-in users can open Batch mode and upload up to 50 images in one session. Each file is processed separately; download everything as a ZIP when finished.
