1. The service

Foner removes backgrounds from images automatically. Processing and previews are free for everyone; downloading full-resolution results requires a registered account with a verified email address.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. Downloading results, topping up the balance, and other actions of value require email verification.

3. Free limit and payments

Each account includes a monthly allowance of free downloads (the current number is shown on the Pricing page); it resets on the 1st day of each month (UTC). Above the allowance, each new result is charged from your balance at the price shown on the Pricing page. A result is charged once: repeated downloads of the same result, including a different format or using background options (solid color, catalog image, your own upload, and future options), are free.

4. Storage of results

Files of every processing job are stored for 24 hours after processing and are then deleted irreversibly. Download your results within this period.

5. Acceptable use

You may only upload images you have the right to use. You must not upload unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the service, or access it by automated means other than the official API.

6. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your uploaded photos and to the processed results. We claim no ownership of your content.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the profile settings. Any remaining balance is forfeited upon account deletion and is not refunded. Your files are deleted immediately.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
