1. What this policy covers
Foner ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered background removal service on this website. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
2. Photos you upload
We store your uploaded photos and the generated results only to deliver the service. All files of a processing job — the original photo and every generated result — are stored for 24 hours after processing and are then deleted irreversibly by an automated cleanup task.
3. Account data
When you create an account we store your email address, a salted password hash (we never store plain passwords), your language preference, your balance, and your payment transactions. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account identifier.
4. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: an anonymous session identifier, your language preference, and authentication tokens. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.
5. Analytics
We use self-hosted, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregated usage of the service. Analytics data cannot be used to personally identify you.
6. Data retention and deletion
Photos and results are deleted within 24 hours of processing. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, name, sign-in identifiers) is erased immediately and your remaining files are deleted at once.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account yourself in Profile → Settings.
8. International transfers
Our servers may be located outside your country. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
